The first building on a Korean launch site

Until then, no launch site in Korea had a building. A site was an empty patch of grass on a summit, and people changed into flight suits in containers and tents. There was nowhere to shelter from rain, and nowhere to sit while waiting. In 2014, Danyang Paravillage became the first site in Korea to put a building on the launch slope. We laid the ground in May, raised the frame in July, and opened in October. It looks modest today. But this is where flying changed from "carrying gear up a mountain" into "a day you come to and stay in". It was our first home, standing here for nine years until Parahouse was built in 2023.
