Terms of Use
Effective 17 August 2026
1. Purpose
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the tandem paragliding, accommodation and related services (the "Services") provided by Danyang Paravillage Paragliding Co., Ltd. (the "Company") through its website, together with the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and the user.
2. Definitions
- "User" means anyone who uses the Company's Services.
- "Tandem flight" means a paragliding flight carried out by two people together, with a qualified pilot.
- "Booking" means a request by a user for a specific date and time, accepted by the Company.
3. Effect and Amendment
These terms take effect when posted on the website. The Company may amend them within the limits of applicable law. Amendments are announced at least 7 days in advance, stating the effective date and reason. Where an amendment is unfavourable to users, it is announced 30 days in advance.
4. Bookings
A booking is formed when the user applies and the Company accepts. The Company may decline or cancel a booking in the following cases.
- The application contains false information
- Weather conditions are unsuitable for flight
- The user's health is judged unsuitable for flight
- Capacity is exceeded, or the Company is otherwise unable to provide the Service
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are those posted on the website and may change. Where a booking has already been formed, the original price applies. Surcharges may apply based on weight; these are explained in advance.
6. Safety and User Obligations
Paragliding is an air sport. Users must observe the following.
- Follow the instructions of pilots and safety staff
- Do not board under the influence of alcohol
- Disclose in advance any condition affecting flight, including cardiovascular disease, pregnancy or fractures
- Wear the safety equipment provided, correctly
The Company's liability may be limited for accidents arising from a breach of these obligations.
7. Weather Cancellation
Paragliding depends heavily on weather. Where strong wind, rain, fog or lightning make safe flight impossible in the Company's judgement, flights may be cancelled or postponed. In that case the user may choose a full refund or a change of date.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
Where the user cancels, the following applies. Cancellations by the Company or for weather are refunded in full.

Accommodation has a separate refund policy, explained at the time of booking. Bookings made through external platforms follow that platform's rules.
9. Photos and Video
The Company provides users with photos and video taken during flight. Where the Company wishes to use this material for promotion, it obtains the user's prior consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
10. Liability
The Company does its utmost to provide a safe service and holds insurance as required by law. Liability may be limited for loss arising from force majeure, the user's own intent or negligence, or health conditions the user did not disclose.
11. Disputes
The Company and the user shall seek to resolve disputes in good faith. Where agreement cannot be reached, applicable law and commercial practice apply, and jurisdiction follows the Civil Procedure Act.
